i7z software package provides reporting tool for i7, i5, i3 CPUs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install i7z
i7z is installed in your system.
Make ensure the i7z package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep i7z *
You will get with i7z package name, version, architecture and description in a table
