hunspell-ar software package provides Arabic dictionary for hunspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hunspell-ar
hunspell-ar is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hunspell-ar package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hunspell-ar *
You will get with hunspell-ar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
