$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hugo 

hugo is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hugo package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hugo *

You will get with hugo package name, version, architecture and description in a table

hugo package basic information:
