hgsvn software package provides Scripts to work locally on Subversion checkouts using Mercurial, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hgsvn
hgsvn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hgsvn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hgsvn *
You will get with hgsvn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
