hfsutils-tcltk software package provides Tcl/Tk interfaces for reading and writing Macintosh volumes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hfsutils-tcltk
hfsutils-tcltk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hfsutils-tcltk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hfsutils-tcltk *
You will get with hfsutils-tcltk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
