hexter software package provides Yamaha DX7 modeling DSSI plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hexter
hexter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hexter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hexter *
You will get with hexter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
