hachu software package provides AI engine for many Shogi and Chess variants, including Chu, Sho, and Dai Shogi, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hachu
hachu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hachu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hachu *
You will get with hachu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
