gvb software package provides visual simulator of 1 and 2-dimensional vibrations, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gvb
gvb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gvb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gvb *
You will get with gvb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
