gscan2pdf software package provides GUI to produce PDFs or DjVus from scanned documents, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gscan2pdf
gscan2pdf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gscan2pdf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gscan2pdf *
You will get with gscan2pdf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
