grub-efi-amd64-signed software package provides GRand Unified Bootloader, version 2 (EFI-AMD64 version, signed), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-efi-amd64-signed
grub-efi-amd64-signed is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grub-efi-amd64-signed package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grub-efi-amd64-signed *
You will get with grub-efi-amd64-signed package name, version, architecture and description in a table
