grinder software package provides Versatile omics shotgun and amplicon sequencing read simulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grinder
grinder is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grinder package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grinder *
You will get with grinder package name, version, architecture and description in a table
