gri-el software package provides Emacs major-mode for gri, a language for scientific graphics, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gri-el
gri-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gri-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gri-el *
You will get with gri-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
