graphite-carbon software package provides backend data caching and persistence daemon for Graphite, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install graphite-carbon
graphite-carbon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the graphite-carbon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep graphite-carbon *
You will get with graphite-carbon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
