graphite-api software package provides Enterprise Scalable Realtime Graphing (API-only frontend), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install graphite-api
graphite-api is installed in your system.
Make ensure the graphite-api package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep graphite-api *
You will get with graphite-api package name, version, architecture and description in a table
