gpac-dbg software package provides GPAC Project on Advanced Content - debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpac-dbg
gpac-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpac-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpac-dbg *
You will get with gpac-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
