google-android-build-tools-ins software package provides Google build tools for Android (aapt, aidl, dexdump, dx), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install google-android-build-tools-ins
google-android-build-tools-ins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the google-android-build-tools-ins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep google-android-build-tools-ins*
You will get with google-android-build-tools-ins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
