golang-statik software package provides embed static files into a Go executable, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-statik
golang-statik is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-statik package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-statik *
You will get with golang-statik package name, version, architecture and description in a table
