golang-github-stretchr-testify software package provides sacred extension to the standard Go testing package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-stretchr-testify
golang-github-stretchr-testify is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-stretchr-testify package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-stretchr-testify*
You will get with golang-github-stretchr-testify package name, version, architecture and description in a table
