golang-github-samalba-dockercl software package provides Docker client library in Go, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-samalba-dockercl
golang-github-samalba-dockercl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-samalba-dockercl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-samalba-dockercl*
You will get with golang-github-samalba-dockercl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
