golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver software package provides library for parsing and verifying versions and version constraints, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver
golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver*
You will get with golang-github-hashicorp-go-ver package name, version, architecture and description in a table
