golang-github-evanphx-json-pat software package provides Go library to apply RFC6902 patches and create and apply RFC7386 patches, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-evanphx-json-pat
golang-github-evanphx-json-pat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-evanphx-json-pat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-evanphx-json-pat*
You will get with golang-github-evanphx-json-pat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
