How to uninstall or remove gobjc-4.8-multilib software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gobjc-4.8-multilib package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gobjc-4.8-multilib

Uninstall gobjc-4.8-multilib including dependent package

If you would like to remove gobjc-4.8-multilib and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gobjc-4.8-multilib

Use Purging gobjc-4.8-multilib

If you use with purge options to gobjc-4.8-multilib package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gobjc-4.8-multilib

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gobjc-4.8-multilib
