gnome-music software package provides Music is the new GNOME music playing application, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-music
gnome-music is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-music package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-music *
You will get with gnome-music package name, version, architecture and description in a table
