gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 software package provides icon theme for GTK+ 2.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2
gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 *
You will get with gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
