How to uninstall or remove gnat-mingw-w64-i686 software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gnat-mingw-w64-i686 package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gnat-mingw-w64-i686

Uninstall gnat-mingw-w64-i686 including dependent package

If you would like to remove gnat-mingw-w64-i686 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gnat-mingw-w64-i686

Use Purging gnat-mingw-w64-i686

If you use with purge options to gnat-mingw-w64-i686 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gnat-mingw-w64-i686

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gnat-mingw-w64-i686
