git-big-picture software package provides Visualization tool for Git repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-big-picture
git-big-picture is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-big-picture package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-big-picture *
You will get with git-big-picture package name, version, architecture and description in a table
