gir1.2-libertine software package provides GObject introspection files for the Libertine application sandbox, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gir1.2-libertine
gir1.2-libertine is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gir1.2-libertine package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gir1.2-libertine *
You will get with gir1.2-libertine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
