gimp-lensfun software package provides Gimp plugin to correct lens distortion using the lensfun library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gimp-lensfun
gimp-lensfun is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gimp-lensfun package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gimp-lensfun *
You will get with gimp-lensfun package name, version, architecture and description in a table
