gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux software package provides GNU Fortran 95 compiler for the mipsel architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux
gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux*
You will get with gfortran-multilib-mipsel-linux package name, version, architecture and description in a table
