gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn software package provides GNU Fortran 95 compiler for the armel architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn
gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn*
You will get with gfortran-multilib-arm-linux-gn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
