gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua software package provides GNU Fortran compiler, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua
gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua*
You will get with gfortran-5-mips64el-linux-gnua package name, version, architecture and description in a table
