gextractwinicons software package provides extracts cursors and icons from MS Windows compatible resource files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gextractwinicons
gextractwinicons is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gextractwinicons package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gextractwinicons *
You will get with gextractwinicons package name, version, architecture and description in a table
