gem-plugin-sgi software package provides Graphics Environment for Multimedia - SGI support, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gem-plugin-sgi
gem-plugin-sgi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gem-plugin-sgi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gem-plugin-sgi *
You will get with gem-plugin-sgi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
