How to uninstall or remove geda-xgsch2pcb software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed geda-xgsch2pcb package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove geda-xgsch2pcb 

Uninstall geda-xgsch2pcb including dependent package

If you would like to remove geda-xgsch2pcb and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove geda-xgsch2pcb 
Use Purging geda-xgsch2pcb

If you use with purge options to geda-xgsch2pcb package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge geda-xgsch2pcb 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove geda-xgsch2pcb
