geda-gattrib software package provides GPL EDA -- Electronics design software (attribute editor), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install geda-gattrib
geda-gattrib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the geda-gattrib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep geda-gattrib *
You will get with geda-gattrib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
