geant321 software package provides [Physics] Particle detector description and simulation tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install geant321
geant321 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the geant321 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep geant321 *
You will get with geant321 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
