How to Install gdm3 software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

gdm3 software package provides GNOME Display Manager, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gdm3 

gdm3 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gdm3 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdm3 *

You will get with gdm3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
