gccgo-mips64el-linux-gnuabi64 software package provides Go compiler (based on GCC) for the mips64el architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gccgo-mips64el-linux-gnuabi64
gccgo-mips64el-linux-gnuabi64 is installed in your system.
