How to Install gccgo software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

gccgo software package provides Go compiler, based on the GCC backend, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gccgo 

gccgo is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gccgo package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gccgo *

You will get with gccgo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
