gcc-python3-dbg-plugin software package provides plugin for GCC to invoke Python scripts from inside the compiler, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcc-python3-dbg-plugin
gcc-python3-dbg-plugin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcc-python3-dbg-plugin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcc-python3-dbg-plugin *
You will get with gcc-python3-dbg-plugin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
