fsniper software package provides Monitors for new files and runs a rule based task, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fsniper
fsniper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fsniper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fsniper *
You will get with fsniper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
