fsmark software package provides benchmark for simulating synchronous write workloads, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fsmark
fsmark is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fsmark package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fsmark *
You will get with fsmark package name, version, architecture and description in a table
