fsl-5.0-core software package provides analysis tools for FMRI, MRI and DTI brain imaging, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fsl-5.0-core
fsl-5.0-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fsl-5.0-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fsl-5.0-core *
You will get with fsl-5.0-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
