freeradius-dbg software package provides debug symbols for the FreeRADIUS packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freeradius-dbg
freeradius-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freeradius-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freeradius-dbg *
You will get with freeradius-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
