freepats software package provides Free patch set for MIDI audio synthesis, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freepats
freepats is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freepats package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freepats *
You will get with freepats package name, version, architecture and description in a table
