freebsd-glue software package provides Emulate a FreeBSD build environment, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freebsd-glue
freebsd-glue is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freebsd-glue package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freebsd-glue *
You will get with freebsd-glue package name, version, architecture and description in a table
