fonts-hosny-thabit software package provides fixed width OpenType Arabic fonts, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-hosny-thabit
fonts-hosny-thabit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-hosny-thabit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-hosny-thabit *
You will get with fonts-hosny-thabit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
