fonts-cwtex-ming software package provides TrueType Font from cwTeX - Ming, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-cwtex-ming
fonts-cwtex-ming is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-cwtex-ming package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-cwtex-ming *
You will get with fonts-cwtex-ming package name, version, architecture and description in a table
