fonts-arphic-uming software package provides AR PL UMing Chinese Unicode TrueType font collection Mingti style, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-arphic-uming
fonts-arphic-uming is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-arphic-uming package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-arphic-uming *
You will get with fonts-arphic-uming package name, version, architecture and description in a table
