fonts-android-udeb software package provides sans-serif font family released with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-android-udeb
fonts-android-udeb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-android-udeb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-android-udeb *
You will get with fonts-android-udeb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
